fandom thoughts

ive been drifting apart from the DSMP for a while now quite honestly; its not really fun for me anymore if that makes sense. i have been getting into the COD fandom though and have dubbed soap and ghost "gay army men" (which they are). its honestly been a bit jarring going from a fandom with a lot of fluff to a fandom with almost every fic having an archive warning its a nice change of pace though. while this fandom is consisting of a lot of violent fics some of them are amazingly written! i will share some of my reccomendations at some point though i tend to read fics of the NSFW variety.

writing

i have been making slow headway on taking him and running (probably my last DSMP fic). i have a COD group therapy fic in the works though its slow going especially because i dont know much scots so i have to have a beta reader for each chapter who knows a little more than me. everythings slow going with school though. lifes a fuck is my thoughts on that. tbh i have some snippets from the COD fic to share though

system situations

as with getting into any fandom for us we have formed some new people from the COD fandom mostly from fics because fuck canon. we havent really felt solid lately which is hard but its been nice to feel a little more free.

tech update

my new laptop finally got here and its taken a bit to get things set up but its been great to have a functioning machine. i did a teardown of my old machineto try and harvest some RAM and the SSD i did end up harvesting the RAM but when i went to put it in my desktop i discovered theres no extra RAM slots. i had unfortunatley been doing this project for 2 hours at 5am after not sleeping all night so that was f u n.
